  1. The Spec2000 numbers were interpolated for older architectures by using the average of the ratios of performance metrics which were available for certain architectures
  2. A fan out of 4 is the time taken for one inverter driving 4 equal size inverters is approximated by 360ps/um of effective gate length (feature size).
